Getting back to it.

This is my first Blog post of 2012.  I got away from Blogging, life was busy and new distractions have come along...Pinterest for one!  I have been busy working away in my free time on making rag rugs and posting them to my Artfire and Etsy accounts. 

As I continue to work on my craft my rugs get better and better and my skill is improving.  I am loving the process of making these rugs.  It actually gets kinda meditative...with interruptions by my Shih Tzu's wanting in and out of the back door.

I've been playing around with making bags as well.  They are fun and funky looking and quite sturdy. 
With my youngest heading off for her second year at College, I can only see this becoming more and more of an obsession....that's OK, it keeps me out of the Malls!
